EliteFace AI ("EliteFace AI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the EliteFace AI mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
EliteFace AI is a facial analysis application that uses your device's built-in camera and Apple frameworks (Vision, ARKit, Core Image) to analyze facial features such as symmetry, skin health, face shape, golden ratio proportions, and jawline definition. All analysis is performed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your photos or facial data on any external server.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Photos and Camera Data
- Camera Access: The App requests permission to access your device's camera (via
NSCameraUsageDescription) to capture photos of your face for analysis. This includes both the standard camera and the TrueDepth camera (via ARKit) for the Pro 3D Scan feature. - Photo Picker: You may also select existing photos from your device's Photo Library using the system Photo Picker (PhotosUI). The App uses the limited-access Photo Picker provided by Apple, which does not require full Photo Library permission — you choose exactly which photos to share with the App.
- Face ID / TrueDepth Sensor: The App uses the TrueDepth camera system (via
NSFaceIDUsageDescription) exclusively for the Pro 3D Scan feature to map your facial geometry in three dimensions. This data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted externally. - On-Device Processing Only: All photos and camera frames are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework, Core Image, and ARKit. No images or facial geometry data are ever sent to our servers or any third-party service.
- Thumbnail Storage: Analyzed photos may be saved as compressed thumbnails on your device's local storage solely to display your scan history. These thumbnails remain on your device and are never uploaded.
2.2 User Profile Information
During onboarding, the App may collect the following optional information that you voluntarily provide:
- Name: A display name of your choice (can be any name or nickname).
- Gender: Used to tailor analysis results and celebrity match comparisons.
- Goals: Your selected goals (e.g., "Track Progress," "Improve Skin," "Get Tips") to personalize your experience.
This information is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and is never transmitted to any server.
2.3 Analysis Results and Scan History
The App stores analysis results on your device, including:
- Overall attractiveness score
- Symmetry, skin health, golden ratio, and jawline scores
- Face shape classification
- Skin age estimation
- Celebrity lookalike matches
- Personalized improvement suggestions
- Date and time of each scan
- Scan streak data (current streak, longest streak, total scans)
All of this data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and local file storage. None of this data is transmitted to any external server.
2.4 Purchase Information
- Subscriptions: The App offers an optional weekly premium subscription managed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework and processed by Apple's App Store. We do not directly collect, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). All payment processing is handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy.
- Transaction Verification: Subscription status is verified on-device using Apple's StoreKit transaction verification. No purchase data is sent to any third-party server.
2.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be explicit about what we do not collect:
- ❌ We do not collect biometric identifiers or create biometric templates for identification purposes.
- ❌ We do not use facial recognition to identify you or anyone else.
- ❌ We do not upload your photos to any server or cloud service.
- ❌ We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or device identifiers for tracking.
- ❌ We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- ❌ We do not make any network requests to external servers (other than Apple's App Store for subscription management).
- ❌ We do not track you across other apps or websites.
3. How We Use Your Information
All information collected is used solely to provide the App's core functionality:

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage Only
All user data is stored exclusively on your device:
- UserDefaults: Profile information, onboarding status, scan history, and free scan count.
- Local File System: Scan thumbnail images are saved to your device's app sandbox directory.
- App Group (Widget): If you use the home screen widget, minimal score data is shared with the widget extension via a shared App Group container on your device.
4.2 No Cloud Storage
We do not use iCloud, CloudKit, Firebase, or any other cloud storage service. Your data exists solely on your device.
4.3 Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in app sandboxing, which prevents other apps from accessing EliteFace AI's data. Additionally:
- The App does not create any network connections to external servers (except Apple's App Store for subscription verification).
- All facial analysis processing uses Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks.
- No data leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share your results via the system share sheet.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
5.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties for any purpose.
5.2 User-Initiated Sharing
When you use the "Share Results" feature, the App generates a share card image containing your score, skin age, face shape, and celebrity match information. This image is presented via Apple's system share sheet (UIActivityViewController), allowing you to share it through your chosen platform (e.g., Messages, Instagram, etc.). We do not control or have access to the data once you share it through third-party platforms.
5.3 Apple
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's collection and use of your data related to App Store transactions is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, though given that all data resides on your device and we have no access to it, such disclosures would be extremely limited.
6. Children's Privacy
EliteFace AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please note that all data is stored locally on the device and can be removed by deleting the App.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Camera Permission
You can revoke camera access at any time through your device's Settings → EliteFace AI → Camera. Without camera access, you can still use the photo picker to analyze existing photos.
7.2 Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all of your data at any time by:
- Deleting the App: This removes all stored data, including your profile, scan history, and thumbnail images.
- Using the in-app reset: The App provides a reset option in the Profile section to clear your data.
7.3 Subscription Management
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or through the App Store.
7.4 Data Portability
The App does not currently offer a data export feature. However, you can share individual scan results using the share feature.
8. International Users
EliteFace AI processes all data on your device regardless of your location. Since no data is transmitted to external servers, there are no cross-border data transfers to disclose.
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal basis for processing your data is:
- Consent: You provide consent by granting camera access and voluntarily entering profile information.
- Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to provide the facial analysis service you requested.
- Legitimate Interest: Storing scan history to provide the progress tracking feature.
Your rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection) can all be exercised by managing or deleting data on your device, as described in Section 7.
For Users in California (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Since all data processing occurs on your device and we do not have access to your data, there is no personal information held by us for which to submit a deletion request.
9. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs beyond Apple's own frameworks:
- Apple Vision Framework — On-device face detection and landmark analysis
- Apple ARKit — On-device 3D facial geometry mapping
- Apple Core Image — On-device image processing
- Apple StoreKit — In-app subscription management
- Apple PhotosUI — System photo picker
No third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel), crash reporting (e.g., Crashlytics), or advertising SDKs are used.
10. Tracking
EliteFace AI does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. As declared in
our App Privacy manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy):

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

13. Apple App Store Compliance
This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, including:
- Guideline 5.1.1 (Data Collection and Storage): All data collection is disclosed and limited to what is necessary for the App's functionality.
- Guideline 5.1.2 (Data Use and Sharing): No data is shared with third parties except as described in this policy.
- Guideline 5.1.3 (Health and Health Research): The App provides entertainment and informational facial analysis only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
- Guideline 5.1.4 (Kids): The App is not directed at children under 13.
- Guideline 5.1.5 (Location): The App does not collect location data.
- App Privacy Details (Nutrition Labels): Consistent with our
PrivacyInfo.xcprivacymanifest, the App collects "Photos or Videos" for "App Functionality" purposes, not linked to the user's identity and not used for tracking.
